Philippines Trip | Rizal Park

The Rizal Park is not so far from our hotel.

A short journey but it could be long in the morning peak hour.

The office hour in this country is from 8am to 5pm.

Many old buildings were spotted around the town.
Mostly all of the buildings were from the colonization era of Spanish.
But nowadays is reuse as government office etc.

The building that very far away is the Manila Hotel.
The Beattle, Mohammed Ali used to live there.

 Rizal Park.
No entrance fee..

Just a public park with many monuments.

This monument of Jose Rizal is very special.
If you click on the larger image,
you can saw there are two army standing there to guard the monument.
Its the specialty of this place.
They are not standing there statically,
at some period they will march around and get back to their position.

These army are from the army school.
They need to do this.
Even if its raining, they can not leave their position.
But not for 24 hours,
there are shift in between.

 Another monument.

A normal day in the park.

The taxi.....Vios.....
